This page explains what information SafeZone collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and in plain English on purpose. The short version: we ask for what we need to help you, we do not sell your data, and your camera footage stays yours.

1. Who we are
SafeZone designs, installs, and supports security camera systems for homes and businesses across New York City and Long Island. This policy covers the safezoneny.com website and the people who contact us through it — by form, email, or chat.
If you have a question about anything here, or about your information, reach us at:
- Email: info@safezoneny.com
- Contact form: safezoneny.com/contact
- Service area: New York City — all five boroughs — and Long Island.
2. Information we collect
We only ask for what we need to answer you and quote your project. When you fill out the quote or contact form, email, or chat with us, that usually includes:
- Your name and the contact details you give us — phone number, email address, or both.
- The address or ZIP code of the property you want covered, so we can confirm we serve the area and plan the work.
- Details about the project — property type, how many cameras you are thinking about, and any notes you add.
- Anything you choose to tell us by email or chat.
Our website may also record basic technical and usage data, such as the pages you visit and general device information, through standard server logs and basic analytics. We use this to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful. We do not need an account, and we do not ask for sensitive personal data to give you a quote.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to do the things you asked us to do: send you a quote, schedule a site visit, answer your questions, and follow up about your project. If you become a customer, we use it to support your system and reach you about service.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not trade your contact details to other companies for their marketing. We use your details only to serve you, run our business, and meet our legal obligations.
4. Camera footage
Footage from systems we install belongs to you. We do not access, view, or store your video unless you specifically ask for support that requires it, and we delete any footage you share with us once the issue is resolved.
In practice, your video records to the equipment at your property or to storage set up for your account. The only time we touch a system is when you ask us to — for example, when you call for support and the fix requires us to check the recorder, the app, or a camera that is not working. When that happens, we look at only what is needed to solve the problem, and we are glad to do it with you on the line.
5. Cookies and analytics
The site uses cookies and similar tools to keep pages working and to measure how the site is used. Where the law requires it, we load analytics and any advertising tools only after you give consent, and you can decline. The core pages and the quote form work without optional cookies.
Analytics and advertising scripts — such as Google Analytics (GA4) or Google Ads — load only if they are configured and consent is in place. Until then, no third-party analytics or ad scripts run on the site.
6. Who we share information with
We share information only when it is needed to serve you or run the business, and only with parties bound to protect it:
- Service providers under contract — the tools that host our website, send our email, and store our records — and only so they can do that work for us.
- The SafeZone AI Platform, which processes the leads from our quote and contact forms so we can respond, quote, and schedule. It is our own system, used to handle your request.
- Legal requirements — we may share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, and property, or those of others.
We do not allow these providers to use your information for their own marketing.
7. How long we keep your information
We keep quote and contact details only as long as we need them to serve you and to meet legal or record-keeping needs. If a quote does not turn into a job, we keep the lead on file for a reasonable period in case you come back, and then remove it. Customer records are kept longer so we can support the systems we installed.
8. Your choices and rights
You are in control of your information. You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your information when we no longer need it.
You can opt out of marketing at any time by emailing info@safezoneny.com or using the contact form, and we will take care of it.
9. Children
SafeZone’s website and services are meant for adults arranging security for a home or business. The site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business changes or as the law requires. When we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top of this page. The version posted here is the one that applies.
