How Many Security Cameras Does a New York Property Need?
The honest answer is: it depends on what you want to see. Most New York homes start with four cameras — front door, driveway or stoop, backyard, and one more for a side entrance or garage. A small store usually wants the register, both entrances, and the main aisle, which often lands between four and eight cameras. Larger buildings, warehouses, and multi-unit properties need a walk-through to map every blind spot before anyone can give a real number. Rather than guess, we count the entrances, the areas you actually care about, and the spots where light and angles get tricky, then recommend the smallest system that covers them well.
